St. George's College Participates in the III Meeting of the Sustainable Development Committee

Last Tuesday, our Executive Headteacher, Simon Porter, represented St. George's College at the III Meeting of the Sustainable Development Committee, a key event that brought together leaders from various organisations committed to sustainability. During the session, progress related to the climate maturity level of each institution was shared and assessed, reaffirming the collective commitment towards a more sustainable future.

We are delighted to see how more and more organisations are recognising the importance of joining forces to tackle global challenges. This collaborative effort is crucial to achieving a significant impact in the fight against climate change.

Among the organisations present at this meeting were the British Embassy, University of Lima, Mace, Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas, ERM, BRITÁNICO, PwC Peru, EY, Recidar, Multivalve Latin America, and Global Skills, all working together to drive sustainable development.

We would like to extend our special thanks to Victor Sanchez and Lucila Pinto Cieza, specialists from Libélula and Nexos+1, for leading this session and for their continuous support on the path to sustainability within the BritCham community.

St. George’s College will continue to strengthen its commitment to sustainability, actively participating in initiatives that contribute to a greener and more resilient future for generations to come.
