International Exams

Our students are invited to participate in international examinations to certify their proficiency in the languages we teach. For English, we work with Cambridge exams, which are globally recognised, and Idiomas Católica serves as our Examination Centre.

In Lower School, students are invited to take the young learners (YLE) exams. These include the Starters, Movers, and Flyers exams. In Middle School, our students are invited to take the Preliminary English Test (PET), and in Upper School, they are invited to take the First Certificate in English (FCE) and the Certificate in Advanced English (CAE). If our students graduate with the FCE, they receive a certificate confirming a B2 level of proficiency according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), which is a graduation requirement for universities in Peru.

For French, we collaborate with the Alliance Française as our examination centre, and our students are invited to take the DELF Junior exams from Grade 6 to Grade 9. Students who choose French in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme may also take the B1 and B2 levels of the DELF exam.
