Learning and Curriculum

The educational approach at St. George’s centers the student in the learning process. Through a constructivist approach and the deliberate repetition of experiences, each student competes with themselves to improve and bridge the gaps between their current knowledge, skills, and understanding and the goals they aspire to reach. We believe in holistic education and intentionally promote the development of soft skills with an emphasis on critical thinking, enabling our students to successfully face and embrace the challenges of a globalised world.

As part of the ISP schools, we are inspired by the term “Amazing Learning,” which aims to create an environment where students feel happy and motivated. This approach involves exposing them to cognitive conflict that pushes them out of their comfort zone, leading to a positive struggle or good struggle to acquire and consolidate learning.

We educate our students through an international curriculum that not only helps them understand the challenges of a globalised world but also prepares them to face these challenges. We are authorised to implement ICA (International Curriculum Association) programs such as IEYC, IPC, and IMYC. For our older students, we offer two different programs from the International Baccalaureate organization: the Diploma Programme and the Career-related Programme. Each program, with its particular focus, ensures academic rigor and provides a formative experience for all our students.
